Shining Force II reached the Mega Drive in Japan in October 1993
and the West the year after, built by Sonic! Software Planning — the studio that
would become Camelot — and published by Sega. It took everything the first game did and gave it room: a larger
world you cross on foot instead of through a menu, thirty-odd recruits, and battles
that sprawl far enough that losing the left flank is a thing that can happen to you.
It is also the game this house is named after. Creed's Mansion is a real place in
it, and the wizard who lives there is exactly the sort of person who would let you
poke around in his things.
